Best of the best September 18, 2008 I love all things Izzard, but have to admit this is my favorite of all his videos and I have all of them. I've watched this over and over and still laugh out loud every time I see it. If you're an Eddie Izzard fan this is a must have!
Love Eddie! June 2, 2008 Until recently I had never heard of Eddie Izzard. Blame it on no cable beyond basic for a few years. But after seeing him in Across the universe and The Riches my curiosity was piqued and I stated to check out his standup. I've ordered most of them and they are all worthwhile having. DTK & Glorious are the best but even his others are worth checking out. Timeless comedy!
Awesome April 7, 2008 This dvd is awesome. Eddie Izzard is a hilarious comedian. Anyone who purchases this DVD will not be disappointed.
Good...but not his best April 1, 2008 I've bought "Dress to Kill" and "Glorious" in that order and I greatly enjoy them both. "Definite Article" is another good show from my favorite comedian and it has all the trappings of his previous work: cerebralism, silliness, and a nice alternate take on history. However, this time Eddie's material runs to the esoteric (more so than usual) and a new fan might find it a bit uninteresting. As a die-hard fan I found myself tuning out once or twice, too. The show can get repetitive, particularly when Eddie seems to make private jokes public. After a couple of doses, this DVD can stand on its own as well as any of the others. Just be forewarned that it'll take some getting used to. In short: This one is definitely for the fans (pun intended). Is that a pun? I can never tell.

Eddie Izzard is a smart, creative comedian. In Dress to Kill, he keeps you on the brink of hysterics with his take on religion, politics, social problems and general nonsense. His experience as a transvestite helps you to understand his perspective. The lead-in, with an entirely fictional take on Alcatraz, gives you an inkling of what's to come. Dress to Kill is performed in San Francisco, giving Eddie, a Brit, a chance to comment on things American. I love this DVD!
